I got my Surface about 2 days ago and I am very happy with it but there is one thing I missed immediately – watching TV. I could not find an app which was suitable for me nor could I use Flash enabled websites. Microsoft tries to provide a whitelist for Internet Explorer with domains which are allowed to display Flash content on Windows 8 RT.
Well, today after some binging I found a Flash Player hack on this site here . Applying this hack you disable the automatic update of this whitelist in Internet Explorer and you add your domain manually.
Follow these instructions carefully and at the second last step where you have to add the domain, enter…
<domain>wilmaa.com</domain>
then finish the instructions and go back to the Desktop and open Internet Explorer. Enter the URL http://www.wilmaa.com and if you don’t have an account just sign up.
Now you will be able to watch TV online at least I could here in Switzerland.
